About Our School

Hilperton CE Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled school on the outskirts of Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Historical records show that our school dates back as far as 1832. By 1843 it had become a National School with 100 pupils. It became a Church of England school around the turn of the last century. Over the years, the village has expanded and pupil numbers have steadily increased. Due to these increased numbers, the school re-located to its current site, in Newleaze, in September 1970. Today, we currently have 170 pupils on roll split into 6 classes.

We only have one school rule.  It is....

Our school values:

Be Responsible

I can make the right choices

I can learn from my mistakes

Be Respectful

I can look after my environment

Be curious

I can ask questions

I can be inspired by others

I can be confident in my ideas, talents and beliefs

I can keep trying when things get hard
